SELECT A STARTING POINT
Listed below are some starting points for each base mix that as they stand will be very effective. This gives you a number of
options to choose from if you do not want to use the design a boilie from scratch option. This may be of help to those people
who are learning the "black art" of boilie design or those of you that are looking for a simple addition, or to change a flavour,
change quantity (to make cheaper) or to make limited changes to a balanced recipe etc.
Whichever your choice remember you can design your boilie to be as cheap as you like by selecting lower quantities on options
or make a real Rolls Royce which will cost more. When you get to the end of your design you are given the option to go back
and make any changes you require before ordering.

Savoury Chicken and BeefThis example adds kelp and liver powder to the 50/50 base mix to increase the nutritional value and attraction. The Addition of liquid liver and N. Butyric acid give a huge boost to the natural attractors and further reinforce the nutritional value.
The combination of beef and chicken flavouring give a very savoury smell to the bait and I’ve boosted the efficiency of the flavour blend with the multi enhancer and salt. To give an oil content without adding a fishy smell hemp oil has been added at a low level, along with some red colouring.
The finished bait would be classed as a high attract recipe, but it makes use of the meaty additives rather than the commonly used fish or fruity ones.

Yellow SeedA winter winner!
This bait is a truly top quality cold water recipe that you could take to any carp lake and catch on.
To increase the protein and food value CSL powder and lactalbumen have been added to the yellow seed base mix. To back up these ingredients liquid CSL, sweetener and the powerful milk B+ have been added to complement the amazing mixture of Chocolate malt and Vanilla oleo resin. To give an effective cold water oil combination a mixture of wheat germ and hemp oils have been added to the bait as both remain in a liquid state at low temperatures.
The finished bait will catch very well all year round but will be outstanding once the water gets cold.

Fish-Meal SpecialThis bait has been put together as a good balanced fish-meal recipe that would continue working all season, whether you choose to use it for a baiting campaign or just to fish over beds of bait.
To personalise the base mix there is green lipped mussel powder and the super effective krill meal. By using monster crab at a mid level it has given us room to blend some black pepper essential oil along side. This would totally change the signal given off by the crab flavour, setting this recipe apart from ordinary crab boilies. The only additions to the finished bait are salt and salmon oil, each boost the attraction and complete this simple but very effective bait.

Ultimate FishUsing the high quality ultimate fish base mix we already have the best in low temperature and hydrolysed fish proteins. To darken the bait and boost the amino acid profile I’ve added blood powder, while using garlic and minamino as savoury enhancers. Fruity fish meals are very effective so the blend of Peach melba with Juniper berry oil has given a much better attractor than using just the peach by itself. To further enhance the fruity nature of the bait there is a little fruit booster and a very low level sweetener to round the whole thing off. Salmon oil gives the lipid content in a finished bait that is distinctive enough to stand out from all the others that go into your fishery each summer.

Liver & MeatMeat meal base mixes are not so commonly used for carp but more for barbel and chub fishing. If you are looking for a change from fish meal recipes though, a meaty mix can be just the thing. This recipe is very simple but very effective for all the fish mentioned and would be my number one river choice. The base is already very meat and liver powder oriented so I’ve only added garlic powder. The liquid attractors are liquid liver and frankfurter flavouring, boosted by the very effective savoury enhancer.
